The Cowboy Casino's Tech Takeover

·2 min read·364 words
The dream primarily unfolded from a third-person perspective. It centered on an old-school owner of a cowboy-themed casino. He hired two new venture capitalists (VCs) who, on their first day, arrived in strikingly pink cowboy outfits. They were quite rambunctious and clearly represented a new-age approach, brimming with ideas to modernize the establishment. However, the owner was content with his casino as it was, sharing a story about climbing a mountain and finding exactly what he always needed, emphasizing his satisfaction with the status quo. The new VCs began to present all the benefits of modernization. For a period, the dream's visual style shifted, reminiscent of the movie 'Waking Life.' This segment culminated with the VCs demonstrating a casino app, warning the owner that such applications could drive him out of business if he failed to adapt. The scene then cut to the next day, with representatives from the Casino App company in the owner's office, having organized a discussion. The owner, however, grew suspicious, believing they were spying on his operation. Consequently, the new VCs expelled these individuals. One of the expelled individuals did something at the security gate that the casino deemed illegal. This led to the casino calling SWAT on the App company's operation, resulting in several fatalities at their headquarters and one arrest. Abruptly, my perspective shifted to that of the other VC, now on the phone with one of the arrested officials, whose voice strikingly resembled Daleen's. We began chatting, and it appeared she was simply conversing for goodwill. Our conversation soon drifted to the topic of whether having an elephant as a pet is dangerous. I discussed various scenarios where it might or might not be, concluding that an untrained elephant is almost always unsuitable as a pet, while a trained one might be, though significant risks always remain. It was only then that I realized she wasn't actually on the phone. I felt a surge of anger, which triggered a deeper awakening. I pondered whether, in my desire to be open and connected with people, I would tell this person off or what action I would take. At that moment, I truly awoke, feeling angry with Daleen.
