Lucid Lesson on Lust
·3 min read·593 words
I was sitting on a bench on a school field before classes began, enjoying the pleasant atmosphere and quiet. I saw two children jump over the front gate, triggering an alarm. I thought they could have simply entered through the back, as I had. I then stood up and peacefully walked away, not wanting to be present when security arrived. As I reached the back of the school, I bumped into someone. We chatted, and as he was heading in the same direction, he offered me a ride home.
We arrived at a gated community filled with large homes. I stated my house was number 2, but as we drove, we couldn't find it. Spotting a house that resembled '2,' I went inside. It was dark, and as I walked into what I thought was the bedroom, I stumbled upon other people. I startled them, and they informed me this was house number 7, not 2.
I went back outside and continued walking, still unable to locate house number 2. I told my friend that I was usually high when I came here, suggesting that might be why I was confused. Eventually, I asked someone at the reception desk for help finding my place. They informed me it had been renumbered to number 7 (a *second* house number 7), and then guided me there. As we walked in, it appeared the house was on sale and being shown to potential buyers. The receptionist remarked that this was "definitely not right" and said she would figure out what was going on.
In the living room, seemingly out of nowhere, I became moderately lucid. I realized I was in a dream and attempted to use the Spider-Man powers I often have in my dreams. The web came out, but it wasn't consistent, and I couldn't use it effectively. So I decided to meditate, but I meditated in the air instead of on the ground. Within a moment or two, I became fully lucid and was able to use my powers completely.
I decided to explore the house further. I stumbled upon the bathroom, and when I walked in, there were several girls showering. At first, they seemed repulsed by my presence. I attempted to look at their naked bodies, but as I did, I lost some lucidity. I then walked into the room next door, which was also full of women showering. They were also startled at first. I looked down and found myself in an open robe with my penis erect. For a moment, I felt shame and turned around, walking away. Then I became fully lucid again and decided I would face this directly.
I turned around, walked up to one of the girls, and said, "Awaken Buddha." Her demeanor suddenly shifted. I asked her how to control my lust. She told me not to control my lust, and then started to stimulate me slightly, just enough to get my attention. She then stopped and said I needed to redirect my attention. She told me a story, using her naked body to illustrate it, but as she did, my focus remained on the story, not on sex. This seemingly showed me the answer to the question: I needed not to *control* my lust, but to be aware of how it arises and redirect my awareness. To realize that when I see naked women, or women in general, the thoughts of sex are an unconscious projection. And to overcome it, I'd only need to become aware of this, and it would begin to fade.
