Recurrent Hero Journey

·1 min read·169 words
Last night, I experienced a series of 'Hero's Journey' dreams. In the first, I was a lone individual, equipped with a Spider-Man/Doc Ock-like back attachment, scaling a vast tower and fighting off enemies. I reached the summit, defeated a formidable boss, and this victory triggered the next round. The second dream saw me working with a team, much like the characters from 'The Boys.' In the third, I embodied the spiritual character from 'The Umbrella Academy,' constructing a massive 'weed room' intended to 'smoke out' everyone in the tower. I partook in its effects, passing out as the device activated, impacting the entire structure. The subsequent round of the tower challenge unfolded in a world completely overgrown with flora. Interestingly, while I was building this machine, my father appeared, and I instinctively tried to hide it from him. This dream sequence felt symbolic of my spiritual endeavors: becoming profoundly absorbed in them, experiencing an almost intoxicating effect, and a strong inclination to keep these aspects of my life private.
